You may participate in their workshops in real time during the below U.S. Pacific Standard times. During the workshops, you can interact and engage in Q&A sessions with each presenter.

Or, you may also view these workshops at your convenience via the On Demand tab. In either instance, we recommend that you view the workshops in the order below, as many of the concepts in later workshops build on those presented in previous workshops.

Each presenter also will have a booth in the Exhibit Hall, where you can visit further and learn more about their expertise. We’re sure you’ll benefit from their great advice and valuable insights.

Why participate in the Microsoft Alumni Network Virtual Career Fair?

The Microsoft Alumni Virtual Career Fair allows for local and multi-national companies around the world that value people with Microsoft FTE experience to connect online in real time with quality Microsoft alumni who are seeking new challenges and new career opportunities.

How it Works

To register, use your Microsoft Alumni Network member ID (found on the Manage My Benefits page). You will be asked to build your profile and upload your resume. On April 3, you will log in and join the event, visit employer booths, apply for positions and choose which employers with which you wish to engage in one-on-one chats (similar to choosing which booth to visit in a physical career fair). Please be prepared to provide highlights of your resume, your career interests and to ask questions about the company. Following each chat with a recruiter, you can select additional employers to engage with until the career fair is over.

This online event is designed to connect alumni job seekers with companies interested in hiring candidates with Microsoft experienced talent to exchange valuable information for recruitment purposes and to explore potential matches. Additionally, Microsoft Global Talent Acquisition will be participating to identify alumni interested in returning to the company.
Interact with employers/recruiters and have the option to connect on the spot through chat and video conference. Availability varies by employer.
No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You will only need access to the internet and your personal login information, which you will receive upon registering.
No. Some employers may have the ability to request a video chat, however it is not required in order to participate.
You be able to apply for jobs posted. This event is an opportunity to meet, network, and ask a recruiter specific questions about topics such as current open positions and company culture.

No, there is no registration fee to attend the Virtual Career Fair. All registrants must be Microsoft Alumni Network members. Not a Microsoft Alumni Network member? Join or renew today to make sure your membership is activated in time to participate. Please note it takes 3 US Business days for a new membership to activate.
This is an online event. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate anywhere that you have Internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

Yes. Like any physical event, you will have the option to create a swag bag! You can add all of the documents available to the online swag bag in your account and then email them to yourself.
The event will remain open for 24 hours on April 3, 2020. Alumni Network members who register for the Virtual Career Fair can attend whenever it’s convenient during this period. However, the recruiters’ office hours will vary; schedules will be posted. Anticipate that recruiters will have “office hours” between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the listed time zones.
